A STUDY ON PRE-SCHOOL STORY BOOKS IN POINT OF READABILITY
Abstract :
In this study, it was aimed to determine 50 preschool story books, Öykü Yağmur Set, in point of word and sentence lengths and readability levels. For determining the readability level of texts, Flesch’s formula that adapted by Ateşman to Turkish was used. This study which aimed to determine the readability levels of stories is in a descriptive character. As a result according to the formula, stories are appearing as very easy, easy and medium levels.
