  • Abstract
    There are many changes occurring in societies and institutions depending on the developments in science and technology. Educational institution sometimes causes changes and it is sometimes affected by the results of these changes as well. The change of educational organizations depends on many factors. However, the role of administrators is undeniable. Educational administrators and, especially, school administrators should have some qualifications. One of these qualifications is to be a transformational leadership. This research is done for the purpose of defining the relation between the transformational leadership of the secondary school directors and the organizational commitment of teachers according to the teachers’ opinions . The inventory prepared for the aim has been given to the teachers of the whole secondary schools in the center district of Bolu. 465 valid inventories have been evaulated. The analysis of regresion, t-testing and varience have been used in order to dertermine the connection between the variants made use of the statistics such as; reliability, periodicity and percentage illustrator. At the results of research, the relations between the transformational leadership characteristics of the administrators such as; individualized consideration, intellectual stiulation and affective commitment of teachers are at p 0.05 level.
