Abstract :
There are a lot of studies which are for more productive as use natural sources in the world. This usage form has continued since centuries, but it has not been planning. It is thing that it has to be planning. Turkey where there are characteristically transhumance activities is very rich country. Transhumance is continued differently and dissimilar time every regions. They have to be evaluated in terms of rural potential. As Summer Resort “Sayfiye Yaylacılık” has been developing recently, stockbreeding purposeful transhumance can be finished. Some arrangement should be for this activities not finishing. In this study, Elmalıboğaz and Karboğazı Summer Pastures, in the boundary of Gülek town where it is south of east part of Bolkar Mountain are investigated both yayla settlement and nomads. In the study, an inquiry which takes shape 105 questions is applied and asked some question apart from inquiry and this information are evaluated. In the end, some proposals are come up with in terms of sustainable land use aimed at planning.
