Abstract :
One of the important factors keeping a terrorist organization alive is the continuity of recruitment. Devoid of human resources will make a terrorist organization unable to perform its actions, and in time it will be disappeared through a complete pacification. One of the effective combatting methods against PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) which mostly carries out its terrorist actions on Turkish land is to eradicate its recruitment resources. In the fight against terrorism, however, bringing qualified sympathizers and members, structures that provide systematic involvement is one of the issues that need to be considered more. In Turkey, an important example of this issue recently has come from KCK (Koma Ciwaken Kürdistan) terrorist organization. As an umbrella organization, KCK (Koma Ciwaken Kurdistan), called Kurdistan Communities Union, which includes PKK and coordinates such People s Defense Field Centre and Center of Political Space, especially recruits qualified staff to PKK. In order to manipulate International and national public opinions, the PKK and its derivatives, notorious to produce organized behavioral methods, effectively establish, advertise and operate so-called legal civil society initiatives Academy of Political. In this study, as an example of a method to produce qualified members of terrorist organizations, KCK Academy of Politics examined, the authors have used the open source scanning method of inquiry. Moreover, the purpose of the establishment of the KCK Academy of Politic, and its outcomes and strategies was evaluated through in-depth-interview method.
