Title Of Article :
THE EFFECT OF QUANTUM LEARNING MODEL ON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT: A META-ANALYSIS STUDY
Abstract :
Quantum learning model is the one claimed to help gain academic and lifelong learning skills in a swift and amusing way via combining teaching methods and techniques, the effectiveness of which was validated for the learners in different age groups. In the literature, while there are studies highlighting the effectiveness of quantum learning model on academic achievement, there are also studies supporting quitethe opposite. Therefore, the aim of this research was to conduct the meta- analysis of the experimental studies focusing on the effect of quantum learning model on academic achievement, to calculate the common effect size and to determine whether there were any significant differences according to some variables. In this study, meta-analytic survey method was used.13 studies (15 comparisons) investigating the effect of quantum learning model on academic achievement between the years 2004-2014 and suitable for the coding criteria were identified. The results showed that quantum learning environment has a positive and small effect size on academic achievement. This effect size showed a signigicant differenceon behalf of we akexperiment al design an articles, yet no significant difference on behalf of the place where the study was conducted, type of class, and teaching grade.
