Abstract :
Marketing is of great importance in a globalized world. The importance of marketing the products to be sold in an increasingly competitive environment is increasing with each passing day. In recent years city marketing has become one of the sub-disciplines of marketing. Because building city brand is very important, All cities has begun working on branding. Strategic marketing effort is an important part of branding. Branding makes cities richer and increase quality of life and employment opportunities. In this study, by taking of opinions about Adıyaman city , The effect of city branding on the satisfaction of people living in the city have been investigated. Survey was conducted with 400 people resident in Adıyaman. According to the analysis of the obtained data and assessment results All of the variables associated with the branding of the city is seen as important enough by the participants. Some of these variables for Adıyaman to be sufficient while other variables not enough. This survey is important to determine impact of city branding on physical, psychological, sociological and economic of city people.
