THE FACTORS AFFECTING ECONOMICS PROFITABILITY: A CASE STUDY OF ISO 500 INDUSTRY FIRMS
Abstract :
This study aims significance of the financial indicators in explaining the level of profitability of firms and to put forward the relationship between financial indicators and variables of profitability. In this study, 15 companies, which are registered Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) and are located within the first 100 companies from 1997 to 2013, have been selected.In this study, it has been used panel regression analysis to measure the relationship between the variables and were obtained one model. As a result, it is determined a significant relationship between Economic Profitability (Dependent Variable) and Net Profit Margin, Receivables Turnover, Leverage Ratio, Fixed Assets / Total Assets (independent variables). It isn´t determined a signifacant relationship between Current Rate, Net Working Capital / Net Sales Net Working Capital Turnover.
