THE EVALUATION OF INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER EDUCATION STANDARDS: A QUALITATIVE STUDY APPROACH
Abstract :
The purpose of this study evaluates perspectives of faculty members’ on university standards on the international computer training. A qualitative research design was used for this study with phenomenological context. This research was apply of five instructors, fromuniversty in Küçükçekmece province in İstanbul, in the 2014-2015 academic year. The data were obtained with the instructors used a semi-structured interview form. During analysis of the lecturer’s answers in interview forms and content analysis was used for this study. Firstly data were coded and then categorizes, which explain the data at the general level, were determined. Four themes emerged from the data, such as inefficacy from the subject of following technology, blended learning area, the effect of the world. Findings of this study indicated that the most of the lecturers determined that minimum content and professional knowledge.
