Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the beliefs of pre-service and in-service science teachers, and superintendents concerning science teaching and learning. The sample consists of 80 superintendents, 66 in-service science teachers and 78 pre-service science teachers from senior year. Beliefs about Reformed Science Teaching and Learning (BARSTL) instrument were used to collect data. The results indicated in-service science teachers’ beliefs about science teaching and learning were mostly positive and student centered by comparison with pre-service science teachers’ and superintendents.’
