Abstract :
In this study, mixed ligand transition metal complexes of Cu(II) have been prepared between salicylic acid derivatives [salicylic acid (H2sal) or acetylsalicylic acid (Hasal)] and 2- aminobenzothiazole derivatives [2-aminobenzothiazole (abt) or 2-amino-6-chlorobenzothiazole (Clabt) or 2-amino-6-methylbenzothiazole (Meabt)]. The structures of amorphous metal complexes have been proposed by evaluating the data obtained from elemental analysis, ICP-OES, FT-IR, UV- Vis, thermal analysis, magnetic susceptibility and molar conductivity studies.
