Abstract :
Tension/compression test is one of the most common testing methods which is used to determine the mechanical properties of metallic and non-metallic materials. In this study, a tabletop testing machine was designed and producted with enough capacity and specifications for tension/compression/bending tests of low-strength materials to the brand-name machines. The custom-made tabletop testing machine provides 10 kN load maximum for tension/compression/bending tests of low-strength materials and allows the user to adjust the loading rate.
