Abstract :
Microstrip filters take an important place in microwave circuit design. High performance, suitable dimensions and cost are the important points that must be taken in consideration for microstrip filters. The subject of this study is design and related measurement results of a frequency adjustable microstrip band pass filter which works in 2,42–2.56 GHz (WLAN) with a low noise, competible with IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.15.4 standards. The recommended filter is made up of microstrip lines and passive components (resistors- capacitors) between these two layers. The band pass characteristics of the filter are exchangeable between 2.42–2.56 GHz depending upon the alteration of the value of passive components. FR4 fiber glass is used as a base material in this circuit. As a result satisfactory degree of consequences are obtained in an adaptive band pass filter.
