Quality Of Ready-Mixed Concrete Of Isparta And Its Surroundings Before Construction Audit Institutions
Abstract :
In this study, the quality and compressive strength classes of ready-mixed concrete were investigated in Isparta and its near vicinity on the basis of ready-mixed concrete plant. Also the current situation has been effort to clarify. The research was been based on the manufacturing control records of only a ready-mixed concrete plants because of data obtained from other plants were not reliable. The data obtained for the period 2008-2010 were analyzed statistically. Isparta and its near vicinity are located in the first degree earthquake zone and between the active fault zones. The average compressive strength of concrete used in constructions in this region was determined as C25. This is consistent with published data by the European Ready Mixed Concrete Association for Turkey.
