Title Of Article :
Directed Vapor Deposition Technique (DVD)
Abstract :
With directed vapor deposition (DVD) technique which is a surface coating method coating can be made to the planar or curved surfaces of compound which are resistant to friction, heat, and wear with high speed machine elements. By vaporizing with low vacuum electron beam (E-Beam), with steam spray metals, ceramics and semi conductor products deposited by combination of gas stream can be coated by DVD. Because of the differences between producing vapor and realization of coating, DVD system has different structure from Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) method. With DVD which works under a stream of carrier gas in low vacuum, workpieces can be provided both productive and rapid functional attributes by focusing current during vapor deposition. With the development of the method of DVD, it contributes to coating both the metals and fiber-featured metal matrix composites and constant fibers. In this study, beside the PVD method, DVD presentation, studies about the DVD, equipments used in the system, usage and features of DVD method are included.
