Abstract :
In this study, researching of concretes with steel fiber and usage sites are aimed. This study is thought to contribute to the literature in respect of studies held before and the standards. Appearing the need to use different areas of concrete at present has caused some developments in concrete techhonology. One of the developments is production of fiber reinforced concrete. It is an effective way that the concrete sterengthens with fibers in order to increase resistance and flexibility of concrete against split development. Existance of steel fibers sufficiently in concrete improves both resistance and energy absorption capacity. Besides the fiber quantity and slenderness have a significant impact on belding strength and fracture energy and tougness of concrete with steel fiber. Concrete with steel fiber are used at earthquake - resistant buildings, in combirations of columneam at industrial buildings, at ensuring the stability of slopes, at concrete reinforced concrete pipes, sub - building meterials, factory warehouse and hanger floors, at airport covering, seaport covering, at shotcrete applications, at thin skin constructions, at buildings which are exposed to large temperature differences, at hydroulic constructions, at very strength concretes, at explosion - resistant buildings.
