Design of a New Dobby Drive Mechanism
Abstract :
Shedding is quite significant in the production of woven fabrics. Nowadays, rotary dobby mechanisms are used at high-speed weaving machines for shedding. One of the main characteristics of the machine’s shaft rotary dobby is the transmission of one way rotational movement the main shaft. To achieve such a movement requires advanced technology and cost. The purpose of this study is to design dobby shaft which will run under 180 degrees and provide equal-time duration in case of transmission of oscillatory motion at the rotary dobby and the task of providing drive mechanism of rotary dobby is to construct a simpler and lower cost of driving mechanism.
