Abstract
The aim of this is to determination of mineralogical-petrological characteristics, geochemical and aggregate properties of dolomitic limestone and evaluate adequacy of aggregate properties in light standards TSE were investgated in Karaöz (Antalya-Turkey) region. Aggregate tests were made with sized aggregate samples to demonstrate aggregate characteristics of dolomitic limestone (such as grain size, grain density, Los Angeles coefficient). Tests (such as density, slump, compressive strength) were carried out on C30/37 concrete samples which prepared with using dolomitic limestone aggregates. Aggregates and concrete test results were evaluated with the help of TSE standards. It was concluded that C30/37 class concrete can be used in reinforced concrete structures, bridges, foundation walls.
