Abstract :
Operation bonding in the clothing, furniture, leather industry, as well as in the production of duplicated fabrics or combined textile materials plays a key role. Adhesive materials are defined as materials having the ability to hold together bonding surface. The success of the formation of adhesive bond depends on the properties and the quality of the adhesive material. Providing sufficient linkages between textile materials and adhesive depends on many factors. They are: textile adherend properties (specific weight, humidity, structure, surface smoothness, wettability, etc.) bonding process conditions (temperature and relative humidity of the environment, pressing time and temperature, etc.) and factors associated with adhesive properties (the type and characteristics of the composition, viscosity, amount and method of applying adhesives, and so forth). In this paper, considering the characteristics and properties of textile materials, described the formation of relationships which provide a strong connection between the bonding surfaces and investigated the conventional theory of bonding.
