Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine physico-mechanical properties of nano-powder filled core samples which have high insulation performance. Mechanical properties like compressive strength, tensile strength, elasticity module and physical properties like density and porosity were investigated in the study. In study, totally 12 core samples without opacifiers were produced at 4 different fiber ratios and 3 different levels of compression force. In the production of these samples were applied 2 kN, 2.5 kN and 3.0 kN compressive force. In this situation, the highest stress values (σmax) which were occurred at the compression of samples and compression forces (FP) which were applicable for core panel production according to stress values were calculated. As a consequence, with the increasing fiber content in core sample, it was observed that generally compressive strength was decreased at 10% deformation. The most suitable fiber ratio was determined as 15 % according to tensile strengths.
