A STUDY ON THE SMART BOARD USABILITY IN-CLASSROOM APPLICATIONS
Abstract :
Information technology is spreading rapidly in many areas of our lives. Smart board is one of the technological tools the utilization rate of which is increasing day by day. In recent years, it is preferred in sectors of education and IT in our country as it is all around the world. The most basic feature of smart board is that it is an interactive white board that works through computer and projector connection. A number of strategies have been developed through using technological products. The interfaces are evaluated through the opinions of the users about the easiness of use and user satisfaction which are the strategies that emerged from the usability tests. Within the framework of this study,a usability test of an interface of a smart board system has been prepared. As a result of the usability test, the usability of smart board technology has been tested by teachers of different school subjects, and positive evaluations have been obtained.
