Abstract
In this paper a regenerative and irreversible closed cycle gas turbine power plant with pressure loss has been analyzed and optimized according to exergoeconomic performance criterion. The exergoeconomic aim function for optimization is determined as exergy of net power output of the facility per unit total exergy costs. The unit total exergy costs have been combined with investment cost of components, fuel exergetic cost, environmental exergetic cost, exergy destruction cost and stream line exergetic costs. The cost equations have been performed according to a SPECO/ AVCO (Specific Exergy Costing/ Average Costing) method which is mostly used in literature and the results are discussed.
