Abstract
In recent years, the use of statin drugs and fibrat derivative has increased for to reduce mortality and morbidity at the cardiovascular diseases. On the other hand, acute renal failure (ARF) and rhabdomyolysis can be seen growing at rates depending on the use of these drugs. In this article a case is presented weakness, fatigue, muscle and joint pain linked to the secondary development rhabdomyolysis due to the combined use of statin and fibrat.
