  • Abstract
    To ensure in aquaculture a healthy fish raised the several scientific studies conducted in Turkey (after 1995) have significantly contributed to the initiated research on the effects of prebiotic oligosaccharides in the early 1990s. In this study, the impact mechanism of Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) obtained from the baker s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), which is one of safest microorganisms was determined prebiotic effect on fish metabolism and advantages of utilizing MOS as a feed additive are discussed
