Abstract
In recent years, are reported that virulence factors of many pathogenic bacteria are controlled via acyl homoserine lactone (AHL) signaling molecules. In this study, production of N-acyl homoserine lactone signaling molecules were investigated using Choromobacterium violaceum CV026 and Agrobacterium tumefaciens NT1 biosensor strains in Vibrio anguillarum isolates, Gram negative fish pathogens. Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 strain was used as a positive control. As a result of, it was found that negative results by using C. violaceum CV026 in test, despite positive results using A. tumafeciens NT1 in test of V. anguillarum strains. In addition were determined of biofilm formation, production of pigments and protease activity which are thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis in the V. anguillarum strains.
