Abstract
After the rectifying of Ottoman Empire, which had covered a very large geographical area, with the 1st world war, Turkish Republic that was established on the land of Anatolia has always faced and had trouble with Kurdish uprisings since 1925. Turkey’s geopolitical position, it’s having an international key role, Turkey’s being in different cultural contacts and having a very fragile area, conflict of interests in the region, intervention of the army, standstill of the democracy could be counted as the main problems. In the years when violence felt, in every level of society there increased many people thinking some rights were abused. External influences and internal implements have directed the ethnic discriminations and disturbances. Despite all the difficulties, all ethnic groups have gathered in the same point and as they have all similar cultural peculiarities and it cannot be said the existence of ethnical disparity. By enforcing democracy in Turkey, it is very easy to provide societal agreement and to end the terror acts but it is thought that this process was going to take a very long time. If international groups do not shelter PKK’s terror acts and they support the process, mothers gushing tears for thirty years will stop.
