Abstract
The Borough of Yusufeli is located in the territories of eastern part of Black Sea Region. Administratively, it is in the territories of Artvin province and it was founded in the centre of Çoruh River basin surrounded by Altıparmak Mountains in the north and extensions of Mescit Mountains in the south.Artvin province has a surface area of 7436 km², which is one of the smallest provinces in Turkey. The largest borough of the province is Yusufeli which is 2327 km² and the smallest borough is Hopa with a surface area of 289 km2, borough in Yusufeli there are two urban administrative parts which are the town centre and the town; and 61 villages connected to the village administrative part.
