Abstract
The aim of this study is compare achievement levels of last year students in Turkish test in primary and elementary schools that enter high schools and universities in accordance with some variables. The sample of this study is composed of 872 students studying in socio-economically different schools in the province of Erzurum. The achievement test obtained by using scanning model has been evaluated according to the variables determined in the test and commented about. The students’ achievement has differed statistically significant. As a result of the study, it is found that the gender of the students, GPA of Turkish and Turkish literature courses, their fancy for these courses, their subscription to the issues for tests, their parents education and income level have played an important role in Turkish test achievement.
