Abstract
This study aims to show the blood theme in the poetry of Heinrich Heine and Asaf Halet Çelebi. The Works of Heinrich Heine, one of the most important German poets of the “Romantic”, are compared to Asaf Halet Çelebis works, who is one of the most important representativeve of modern turkish poetry. Both poets use a mystical world within their works, whrere the blood theme plays an important role. Truth textimmanent aproach simularities and differences will be shown on the example of Heinees “Buch der Lieder” (Books of Songs) and Asaf Halet Çelebis “Bütün Şiirleri” (Collected Poems).
