Abstract
National parks which have the status of protection area are being used for various aims and activities, primarily tourism, with their resource values throughout the world. Although these mentioned protection areas are generally used for touristic reasons for a long time due to their touristic attraction resources; they are also evaluated as the areas of various scientific activities and education. Nene Hatun Historical National Park (2009) which is one of the most recent national parks of our country has the potential to be evaluated with touristic and educational purposes with their resource values. On condition that proper arrangements are done, like many other favorable examples at home and abroad, it is possible for Nene Hatun Historical National Park to be evaluated as an educational area for students in different stages of education in and around Erzurum.
