Abstract
Modern day the people of Kyrgyzstan are living in a rapidly changing and transformation process. Social values in this process are also observed to have deterioration. Awareness of democracy in the country is in case of crawling yet, giving rise to the emergence of selfishness and individuality to the fore, has weakened sacrifice, patriotism etc. Thus the patriotic feeling begins to be perceived as primitive. Durkheim s anomie,as he conceptualizes this case, constitutes a threat to the future of the country. In the study patriotism and patriot concepts are analyzed as what was meant by these in Kyrgyzstan and we aim to seek answers. The study was performed with the support of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
