Abstract
Information technology changes many structures that today s societies own. University libraries are also affected by this change. Libraries have experienced many changes in the past due to some reasons. In this study in order to better identify the changes that taking place at today’s university libraries and possible changes that may occur in the future at these places, the alteration taking place in those libraries from the past to the present are discussed. Later reflections of the contemporary library of information technology is discussed. Finally determinations are made about change that may occur in the university library and recommendations are offered for the problems.
