Abstract
In this research, it is aimed to analyze the effect of implementation of getting the Geography teachers to acquire the map skills and their manners on the subject geography. The research sample is formed of five Geography teachers in İstanbul Üsküdar Henza Akın Çolakoğlu High School. Through the survey improved for teachers, their attitudes have been qualified after practice. The findings from the research are below: 1. The more teachers’ understanding the importance of teaching getting, the higher their intention is getting to help students. 2. The poverty of tech possibility and equipments of a school affects poorly intention of teachers’ planning and giving tutor backed up with tech. 3. The view of teachers about map effect on long lasting learning is favourable. 4. The ideas concerning with giving lesson with the activities aimed to get pupils acquire map skill are more positive than teaching lesson throuh traditional method.
