Abstract
Structured light technique is the most reliable contactless measurement method for the realization of the 3D modeling of the objects. In the structured light technique, calibrated camera-projection pairs and PC are used. The projection reflects the coded patterns, which have been coded by specific methods, on to the scene. Then, the photos of these patterns are taken by the camera. By making comment about projected and taken patterns from camera, the 3D depth information can be reached. The coding method used for structural light system will closely affect the quality of 3D image that will be obtained. In this study, sequential projection based methods have been reviewed and this methods have been compared in various ways.
