Abstract
The study explores the work related problems and occupational accidents and diseases of the furniture manufacture employees in Sakarya province.This study surveyed 227 of the 1075 total employees in 24 different enterprise in June 2011. Surveys results revealed that study area has an occupational accidents and health frequency higher than the national averages.Problematic issues include noise, temperature, gases and dust intake, old or needing repair tools, irregularly maintenance of machinery or equipment, disorganized and untidy working environment, inadequate warning signs.
