    Organizational stress and management: Example of forest enterprises

  • Abstract
    Nowadays, most of the people continue their life under stress. The most important reason of this is the working life. The employees who work in the forestry area oppose some stress due to features of profession like the issue about organizational structure and time management, etc. in addition to the other stress sources which everybody faces. In this study, sources and symtoms of stress have been examined of forest engineers who work in the forest enterprises. A general survey (literature and secondary source analysis) and questionnaire are the methods of this study. 289 engineers responded and joined the questionnaire. The obtained data was analyzed using the statistical techniques. This study’s suggestions are as shown below. The economic opportunities and employee personal rights of forest engineers must be improved. Some regulations about assignments and promotions beginning from the start of the work must be done for the solution of forest engineers’ professional promotion and appreciation stress source. Some practices must be done to lessen the work overload and responsibilities of forest engineers because of some employees cannot allow time to their families due to work overload and insufficient time for a task. Some works must be done for General Directorate of Forestry (GDF) structure to process more healthy and fast, etc.
