Abstract
In this survey, the effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the unemployment in Turkey has been studied by a bounds testing approach using the data between 2000:Q1–2009:Q4. According to empirical findings of the survey, in the long term the effect of FDI on unemployment is not statistically significant. In the short term analysis although FDI increase unemployment in the current period, evidence is found to decrease after two periods.
