    A Research on Investatigation of Consumers’ Attitudes on Green Products

  • Abstract
    Rapid progress in technology, unconscious usage of natural resources cause a great environmental pollution. Because environment and human being are always all together, fears relating to future of environment bring also the humanity’s fear of future. Therefore consumers demand that renewable sources–which cause gradually less pollution, decrease waste, get more recycling–will be used in production much more and products will be safer in ecosystem. In order to determine the environment conscious and usage tendency of environmentally-conscious products, a face to face inquiry is applied to 362 people living in Sivas city center. t test is applied in the analysis of whether there is a statistical difference between individuals’ demographical characteristics and the environment conscious or not. Besides for likert scaled questions, grouping methods of questions are searched by factor analysis. At the end of the study, it’s figured out that people living in Sivas are conscious to environment and sensitive in usage of environmentally-consciousproducts.
