Abstract
Verbascum alyssifolium Boiss (Scrophulariaceae) is a rare and endemic plant species that shows narrow distribution around Erzincan province. According to the IUCN criteria, this species is evaluated as DD (Data Deficient) and known from only three localities. In this study, physical and chemical characteristics of soils that V. alyssifolium naturally distributed on were determined. In addition, correlation between micro and macro element contents of plant and soil samples were revealed. We hope that obtained results will provide important data for ex-situ conservation studies on the rare and narrow endemic species V. alyssifolium.
