Abstract
Before starting the study titled as reductionism issue, we already knew it was not a problem to be solved through simplification and idealization with an approach along the interdisciplinary axis. At the end of the discussions and recommendations, it is not meant to provide a final choice between reductionism or holistic. In this context, the traditional geography assesses the world as a system and uses non-reductionist concepts to understand and explain it. The interdisciplinary identity of geography as a bridge enforces a holistic method to the world, events and relationships rather than a reductionist one with an expanse of ignoring an opportunity to see the details. But most of the time geographers look for reductionist options to define phenomena of unsolved cases or situations. The identification of patients that have difficulty in resolving approached the court has to turn to other disciplines reductionist option. Textbooks and supplementary publications include reductionist and non-reductionist topics and the themes at knowledge and conceptualization levels are not usually reductionist. We will provide reductionist examples to demonstrate that how to create a more rich and diverse world perception through reductionist way. For this purpose, examples are designed for geography contents which are simplified through a trivial and superficial ways of studies and therefore we will look for where the content can be reducible. A descriptive model has been used to show how the reduction of cases is actually possible for phenomena arranged as irreducible in geography course curriculum.
