Abstract
In this study it was aimed to determine the effects of ten different animal manures (sheep, ostrich, quail, pigeon, camel, hen, goat, partridge, cow, horse) on growth and nutrient concentration of tomato plant. For this purpose, 0, 1, 2 and 4 tones/da manures were applied in two kg soil containing pots. Study was conducted under greenhouse condition until fruit set period. Plant dry weights increased with the doses of 1 tone per decare but decreased when dosage exceeds this level. Compared to control, leaf nutrient concentrations increased generally with all manure applications.
