Dairy cattle breeding is important due to provide continuous income, to transfer raw materials to milk and dairy products industry, to create market opportunities for feed, clothing, pharmaceutical and machinery industry, on the other hand to provide foreign export contribution for milk and dairy products, and most importantly, meeting the food requirement. In this study, the effect of animal husbandry support on dairy cattle breeding in farms in İzmir province was determined. The data covers of 67 farms on Ödemiş and Tire districts of İzmir province, has obtained by surveys in 2016. The random sampling method was used to determine producers. According to the results of the research, all of the examined farms had benefited from livestock support; The most used supports were diesel / fertilizer support, kid support and milk subsidy. Yararlı destek miktarının yeterlilik düzeyi konusunda kararsız olduğu tespit edilmiştir. It has been determined that the effects of the supports are mostly to medium-sized farms. The most important problems identified in the farms are high costs, high feed prices and difficulties in feed supply, inability to produce milk prices and not selling milk at an affordable price. Finally, dairy producers stated that they will continue production if they sufficient support despite the high costs in the current conditions.
