Abstract
In this study, polypropylene plastic material (PP‐TD10) was combined with ultrasonic welding method by determining different welding parameters and mechanical strength of welded parts were tested. Tensile test was applied to the samples produced by ultrasonic welding. The experimental results were examined by taking into account the determined parameters and the most suitable (optimum) welding parameters were obtained for a high quality welded material. As a result of these experimental studies, suitable durable products were obtained, visual problems were eliminated, desired aesthetic appearance was achieved and the process became stable.
