ADAPTATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL SILENCE SCALE TO TURKISH

Abstract
In the literature, there are scales developed by different authors to determine the level of organizational silence. One of these scales is the organizational silence scale developed by Knoll and Dick. The purpose of the research is to carry out the validity and reliability of this Scale in Turkish language. In the first step, the scale was translated into Turkish. In the second step, the validity of the translated scale was analyzed. At this stage, it has been provided validity of the scale in terms of content/scope by expert lecturers. After the expert evaluation, a questionnaire containing the scale was applied to 150 academicians. The explanatory and confirmatory factor analyzes obtained from the results of this application are given. Finally, the reliability of the scale was analyzed. According to the results of the analyzes, it is determined that the scale is suitable for the field of Turkish language.
