Abstract
The aim of this study is to reveal the negative psychological and physiological effects of negative leader behaviors that constitute the dark side of the leadership in the workplace, and to investigate the differentiation of these effects in terms of the demographic characteristics of the employees. In this context, in order to measure the psychological and physiological effects of 224 employees working in various sectors in Kocaeli and Istanbul on the negative behaviors of their managers and negative behaviors of their managers, a questionnaire method was applied. As a result of the research; It has been determined that negative leader behaviors have various negative psychological and physiological effects on employees. It was determined that they were exposed to both psychological and physiological effects. Finally, research findings were evaluated in terms of management and organization literature and practitioners.
