Abstract
Performance perception in trade show organizations is important for exhibitor companies. The performance increases as a result of the successful realization of the trade shows and the benefit of the exhibitor from the fair organization. In this research, it is aimed to reveal the performance perception levels of the exhibitors that open stands in the trade show organizations and the differences regarding their demographic characteristics. Within the scope of the research, companies participating in the 2020 EMITT fair were reached and 362 data were obtained. Explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis was applied to the fair performance scale. The fair performance perception levels of the participating companies were revealed through the cluster analysis. In addition, the differences between performance perception levels and demographic characteristics were analysed with multiple correspondence analysis. According to the findings obtained, the performance of the fair varies according to the purpose of participation in the organization, the frequency of participation, the number of agreements and the field of activity.
