  • Abstract
    The aim of this study is to define science teachers views relation to social justice and equity concepts. In this study, a qualitative method is designated. For this purpose, six questions were asked to the science teachers regarding social justice and equity, via a developed semi structured interview form. Within the scope of this study, it was studied with totally 14 science teachers, that two science teachers from every region of Turkey contributed to the study. Content analyses technique was used to analyze the data of the study. According to obtained data, %92.86 of science teachers do not believe that there is not any social justice in the scope of science course and all of them told that they do not think that there is equity within science teaching. It can be recommended that there can be given some courses regarding social justice and equity to the science teachers during their undergraduate education while they are at the university.
