THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT TEACHERS ON THE PROBLEMS AND PERFORMANCES (SAKARYA SAMPLE)

This research was conducted to investigate the problems of physical education and sports teachers, which are effective, efficient and indispensable parts of education and the effects of these problems on teacher performance. In the research, firstly the theoretical sources about the duties of education, physical education and physical education and sports teachers were searched and then the information obtained from the questionnaire applied to physical education and sports teachers who worked in the 2006-2007 education year in Sakarya province was evaluated. The questionnaire consists of two parts, which determine the degree of influence on participation in personal information and problems. A total of 127 physical education and sports teachers responded correctly and evaluatively to the questionnaire. The level of significance in the statistical analyzes was accepted as 0,05. As a result of the analyzes, no significant difference was observed between genders in the perceptions of physical education and sport teachers participation in problems. It was determined that the physical education and sports teachers were significant in their participation in professional problems, facilities and lesson resources, school and family problems, and their performance was affected.
