Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine whether the attitudes of the foreign language instructors who are working in the School of Foreign Languages of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University towards organizational culture have differentiated over time and the direction and possible causes of this differentiation, if there is a differentiation. This study employs an explanatory sequential design. The longitudinal survey method is employed for the collection of quantitative data and the case study method for the collection of qualitative data. The quantitative data were collected through questionnaires while qualitative data were collected through focus group interviews. The study was first conducted with the participation of 20 of 35 instructors in October 2017. The same questionnaire were administered to the same instructors in March 2018. The quantitative data was collected through “Organizational Culture Questionnaire” which was developed by İpek (1999). According to the findings of the study, the attitudes of the participants towards organizational culture have changed over time. The overall reason for this change is thought to be the change of school management.
