Abstract
It is important to combine historical and natural heritage with recent life conditions in the boundary of cultural and natural heritage saving and adapt to future. Cultural properties are very important because of their historical, economical, esthetical and document values as well as indicative role about cities identity. It is necessary for teacher candidates wants to create a society that protects cultural-historical identity and consequently make widely esteemed cultural and natural heritage saving persistence. Because the individuals who knows home enviroment, enter in the relations with this enviroment, wants to understand and give the meaning and have historical awareness, will protect cultural and natural heritages, and be aware of world common heritages and transfer them to the future and provide continuousness. In this regard, a study is conducted with Abant Izzet Baysal University, Faculty of Education, Social Sciences Teaching students about “The history just beside”. This study consist of three parts and conducted in Seben that is not a well-known township and an old settlement located 54 km distance to Bolu. Seben is very suitable fort his study with rock houses, fairy chimneys, traditional house architecture, historical buildings and fossil forests.
