Abstract
In this study , an educational game for teaching “Knowing Internal Organs” subject in Secondary Educational Curriculum of Practice Center for children with Autism was designed. By means of this designed game, it’s aimed that students with autism can be active in classes and entertainingly learn “Knowing Internal Organs” subject consisting of abstract concepts. Phenomenology method was used in this study. One of the purposive sampling methods, criterion sampling method was used in this study. Interviewed with three special education teachers working in Centers for Education of Autistic Children about the applicability of the designed games and game was practiced on two male students aged between 12 and 14 and diagnosed with autism. Semi-structured interviews and informal observations were used as data collection tools in this study. On the basis of research findings, it was concluded that this designed game is a p racticable educational game for teaching “Knowing Internal Organs” subject and same suggestions about the designed game was made.
